WHAT: The Rotary Club of Southpoint Jacksonville's signature fundraiser, Biker Blast, kicks off its second year with a goal to raise $25,000 to sponsor the first patient room in the new Wolfson Children's Hospital expansion planned for 2011.
Individuals can purchase a $20 ticket to celebrate the beginning of Daytona Bike Week or, with a $50 ticket, also participate in a drawing for two (2) Harley-Davidson motorcycles.
The club continues their tradition of helping local charities with a fun–filled family event featuring live music, the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office Motorcycle Team's cycle demonstrations, tasty food from Times Grill and many giveaways. The party and drawing is open to the public. Attendees can try their luck at winning one of the two Harley-Davidson motorcycles or opt for a cash donation of $5,000!
