Poppy Clements, a Jacksonville native and the former chair of the Florida Forum and current member of The Women's Board of Wolfson Children's Hospital, has been named a new board member for Wolfson Children's Hospital.
Mrs. Clements, who earned a Bachelor of Arts from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tenn., and a Master of Science in Education from Wheelock College in Boston, is vice chair of the board of the Jacksonville Public Education Fund. She serves on the board of trustees for Baptist Health Foundation and previously served on the board of City Year Jacksonville and The Bridge of Northeast Florida. She and her husband, Rob Clements, chairman and CEO of EverBank Financial Corp., were recipients of the 2016 Guardian of the Arts award by the Cathedral Arts Project. The couple lives in Ortega and has four children.
"Poppy is a native of Jacksonville and is deeply committed to education and the health and wellbeing of residents of her hometown," said Wolfson Children's Hospital President Michael D. Aubin. "She has a particular devotion to the arts and children's causes, and we are pleased she will continue to serve as an ambassador for Wolfson Children's Hospital on our board of directors."
