It's a guardian or parent's responsibility to keep kids safe and injury-free.   Learn how you can help   your child beat the heat   this summer, along with car seat, water   and bike safety tips from Safe Kids Northeast Florida.  

Coming events

Safe Kids Northeast Florida, sponsored by Wolfson Children's Hospital, offers parents and caregivers information on how to prevent childhood injury. This effort  takes the form of health fairs, with handson demonstrations to keep children safe around cars, the playground, water and home.

A major initiative of Safe Kids of Northeast Florida is car safety, and Safe Kids is currently offering Free Car Seat checks at Kohl's Gear Up 4 Safety Inspection Center at 3563 Philips Highway. Inspections are done by appointment, call 904.202.4302. Click here to read more information.

Funding is provided by Wolfson Children's Hospital, public and private grants and donations, and grants from Safe Kids Worldwide. Safe Kids Northeast Florida is also a grateful recipient of a Kohl's Cares for Kids grant in support of its injury prevention efforts for children.
