The Wolfson Children’s ERs at the Baptist Clay Medical Campus, St. Johns Town Center and Baptist North Medical Campus are staffed by experienced emergency and pediatric physicians; board-certified pediatric radiologists with Nemours Children’s Specialty Care, Jacksonville, who review every pediatric X-ray, CT scan and other imaging tests; and pediatric pharmacists at Wolfson Children’s who consult on and manage every prescribed medication.
Because our Children's Emergency Centers are affiliated with Wolfson Children's Hospital, we are attuned to the nuances of diagnosing a sick child of any age, from newborn to age 18. Our ER doctors can help connect these patients with the pediatric specialists on the medical staff of Wolfson Children's Hospital quickly.

The Fast Track area within the main Wolfson Children's Emergency Center in Jacksonville is known as the Satellite Pediatric Emergency Department (SPED). This area specializes in the care of urgent (non-life threatening) conditions. This specialization matches the patient to pediatricians, staff and facilities geared to test, diagnose and treat children with these urgent, but not emergent, medical issues. The eight-bed SPED is located adjacent to the Children's Emergency Center and is open daily from 8 am to 2 am. When the SPED is closed, all children receive treatment in the main Wolfson Children's Emergency Center.
An additional option for pediatric (and adult) patients requiring urgent, but not emergency, medical care is CareSpot Express Healthcare.
