May 18, 2013 marked the 24th anniversary of the Wolfson Children's Hospital Bass Tournament, the largest single-day bass tournament held in the state of Florida. The tournament is growing every year and, thanks to generous sponsors and participants, we contributed more than $140,000 to Wolfson Children's Hospital.
Not only is this a profitable event, but also a lot of fun for the volunteers, the anglers, and for everyone who comes to enjoy the activities associated with the tournament, which is held in the "Bass Capital of the World," Palatka, Florida.
Plans are underway for the planning of the milestone 25th anniversary for the Bass Tournament. Put it on your calendar: May 15-17, 2014. Details will be coming soon.

The director of Plant Facilities Department of Baptist Medical Center Downtown, along with several outside contractors, wanted to play a major role in funding capital improvements and technological advancements for the Children's Hospital. They created this tournament with the goal of making it the largest in the state raising money for kids. The tournament beneficiary, Wolfson Children's Hospital, provides specialty care for sick and injured infants and children.
